Weekly Photography Challenge: Fresh

Lifestyle photography, playing in the rain 1

Spring is upon us here in SW Washington and Portland, Oregon. We had been enjoying weeks of sunny warm weather during January and February so flowers have been coming up and blooming in abundance. The funny things is as soon as spring actually hit the it has rained almost everyday.

Last week I shared some photographs from a quick trip down to Salem, Oregon. We went down to see the cherry trees that were in full bloom and were greeted by rain showers. The fresh rain was a lot of fun for my kids to stomp their rain boots in, but we did spend only a short time out in it. Although it was rainy it was actually fun to see many people out with their umbrellas walking around the cherry trees.
