I have been training in photography most of my life. I learned all about camera’s and taking photographs from my Mother. Photography is something that has a long tradition in my family. There are some amazing photographs that my Great Grandfather took and my Mother can almost always be seen with a camera. In fact it is difficult to get a picture of her without a camera. She is the one who gave me my training. From hikes to our backyard, there were always perfect places for mini lessons in aperture, ISO, framing your subject and more.
I have my Bachelor of Arts from Lewis & Clark College and was half way through my doctorate in clinical psychology before I stopped to follow another path. I have considered going back to school many times but I keep getting drawn away. I love photography and want to be able to share it with as many people as possible.
I have a love for color and light and finding that moment to capture. I have a documentary style photography with events and people capturing the moment rather than trying to contrive it too much.
I hope that you enjoy seeing these photographs and will return to see more. If you wish to contact me, my e-mail is emiliabrasierphotography@gmail.com.
I believe in following your heart. Do what you love, and love what you do. You can’t go too far wrong with that philosophy. And your images are stunning.
Thank you Kellie.
