I have been training in photography most of my life. I learned all about camera’s and taking photographs from my Mother. Photography is something that has a long tradition in my family. There are some amazing photographs that my Great Grandfather took and my Mother can almost always be seen with a camera. In fact it is difficult to get a picture of her without a camera. She is the one who gave me my training. From hikes to our backyard, there were always perfect places for mini lessons in aperture, ISO, framing your subject and more.

I have my Bachelor of Arts from Lewis & Clark College and was half way through my doctorate in clinical psychology before I stopped to follow another path. I have considered going back to school many times but I keep getting drawn away. I love photography and want to be able to share it with as many people as possible.

I have a love for color and light and finding that moment to capture. I have a documentary style photography with events and people capturing the moment rather than trying to contrive it too much.

I hope that you enjoy seeing these photographs and will return to see more. If you wish to contact me, my e-mail is emiliabrasierphotography@gmail.com.

I believe in following your heart. Do what you love, and love what you do. You can’t go too far wrong with that philosophy. And your images are stunning.

I am always impressed by photographers (their talent and how they see the picture)…my sister-in-law is an amazing photographer and her pictures are fun to look at if you’re interested (julieharrisphotography.com)…she did my header photos of me on my blog.

Emilia, I do love photography a lot, but in your case, I would make the effort to grab that P H D degree as well. Good luck.
    BTW, I also love Oregon.
